The bus was waiting for us at the cruise terminal and was ready for all weather with a top but no sides upstairs. There was an exciting trip through the city which seemed to truly reflect the way of life there! The commentary advertised other tours which could have been helpful for some visitors. The most useful stop is at the square where the major tourist places are eg The Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, The Archaeological Museum, Topkapi Palace and access to the river trips. This was clearly indicated by the commentary.

Awesome city!

I checked in from Hagia Sofia and almost got on the wrong bus. If it weren't for a kind stranger passing by, I would have had to pay extra and be fooled, because when I showed my Viator Voucher, they said it was their bus. I suggest Viator to mention a warning in itinerary and put a more eye-catching signpost at Hagia Sophia.The tour itself was pleasant and informative. It helped me better my understanding of Istanbul a lot. Very worthwhile.

Most of the stops are near each other and so are the sites. Can walk to most activities.

I was very satisfied and impressed with the way the arrangements with Viator were handled. Everything went exactly as planned. I will definitely use Viator for future travel needs.

The tour was a good and conveniant overview of the Big City
BUT it was very hard to find the right bus-stop among orher companies near the cruiseport. We asked people but with little success. No english speakers...
No toilet onboard during 90 minutes could lead to disaster!

A good safe, efficient way to get an overview of the city before setting out on foot for more adventures!

A good tour for the money, but I got lost at one of the hop on hop off sites near the Bascillia Sistern which is worth seeing, just watch out for th carpet and jewelry sales people that are on every corner. Try and remeber your hop on point near the cruise port as it was not the first stop which I thought it was.

Great way to see the city, just wish the busses has air conditioning!

As with all Hop-on Hop-off, a great way of getting around. Although the timetable seemed to go out of the window. We got on the bus and they told us it was ready to leave. We sat for 10 minutes nothing happened, they then said we would be leaving in 10 minutes. 10 minutes came and went. We were ready to get off and get a taxi as we had to get back to the ship, we were told they were leaving straight away and would make it to the ship in time. It turned out they were waiting for the staff from other buses to arrive so they could be dropped off on the way. We eventually got on our way 35 minutes after getting on the bus.

A little confusing at first as to where to get bus from port. Once found, bus route gives you a good idea on where you want to hop off second time around. Walking thru spice mkt, blue mosque, the hearing of prayers.....Very Special.

The bus does not come by often (at least in winter).

I'm really not sure if this is worth doing...unless you have physical limitations and want to see the city without getting off the bus. Traffic in Istanbul was so bad, we actually got off the bus and walked to make more efficient use of our time.

Not a good experience at all, you can't hear the tour guide.. you are better of walking...which is how we got back to our ship because the bus stops running at 4:45...
