Penguins - Dominating the ground level and containing more than 150,000 gallons of chilled and filtered Boston Harbor water, the penguin exhibit is home to three species of penguins: African penguins, rockhopper penguins and little blue penguins.
Amazing Jellies - Sea jellies -- jellyfish as they are often called -- are everywhere! Now they invade the New England Aquarium in a colossal exhibit, Amazing Jellies. The massive exhibit in the aquarium's West Wing Gallery includes thousands of specimens and a variety of different species of jellies. In addition, the exhibit features other exotic habitats, such as a Palauan Lagoon, and strange creatures, such as the monitor lizard. Edge of the Sea - This hands-on tidepool exhibit recreates the diverse and colorful world where the land meets the sea. The exhibit features a realistic fiberglass rocky shore where visitors can touch some of New England's favorite tidepool dwellers such as sea stars, horseshoe crabs, sea urchins and periwinkles.

New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center - Get ready to get up, get active, get moving and get close to marine mammals this summer with the grand opening of the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center and the launch of the Get Your Feet Wet programs.
Entertaining and engaging programming, along with the new innovative, interactive exhibit space, promote activity and fitness while increasing awareness of marine life and conservation. Draw connections between marine mammals and humans and learn about the challenges marine mammal face in our oceans today. Interact with our charismatic fur seals through daily presentations that highlight animal health, fitness and diet. The new exhibit is specially designed to promote hands-on contact with the animals so youll be able to experience marine mammals closer than ever before possible.
Enjoy an amazing program exclusively sponsored by the New Balance Foundation, Marine Mammals in Motion, which serves as your interactive pathway to discovering how healthy living protects both humans and the oceans. Giant Ocean Tank - As one of the world's largest cylindrical saltwater tanks, it offers a multi-level view of the sharks, sea turtles, moray eels, and other tropical fishes that live inside. The tank's center structure represents a Caribbean coral reef. Myrtle, the giant green sea turtle, feels so much at home, you can find her asleep at the bottom for an hour at a time.
Tropical Gallery - Find Nemo while you see colorful clownfish, tangs, lionfish, flashlight fish and live coral.
Aquarium Medical Center - This is the Aquarium's animal hospital, where sick and stranded animals are nursed back to health. The staff cares both for Aquarium residents, and for a variety of animals that have been found stranded on new England's rocky shores, including sea turtles, dolphins and seals. The information learned through caring for these sick animals helps improve the care of all marine mammals.
